It's a........

GIRL!!!! We were SHOCKED and SURPRISED to find out this morning that we are expecting a sweet little girl. (I was totally convinced it was a boy. Although, Branson has said since the beginning that he is going to have a sister.) Miss RyLee Kristine Cole should make her appearance this coming May. Those of you that know me well, know that I'm already chomping at the bit to start decorating another little girl's room! (I foresee zebra print and hot pink headed our way!)

Texas Tech

In eager anticipation of tomorrow's football game between Tech and OU, I thought I'd post this joke I received today.

Sam Bradford & Colt McCoy, after living full lives, died and went to heaven.

God was showing them around. They came to two modest little houses, one with a faded OU flag in the window, and one with a faded UT flag in the window.

"These houses are yours for eternity, Sam and Colt", said God. "These houses are very special; not everyone gets a house up here." Sam and Colt both felt very special indeed and eagerly walked up to their new homes.

On their way up their walks, they noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a red sidewalk, and 50 foot tall flagpole with an enormous Texas Tech flag.

Sam looked at God and said, "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but we have a question. We were all Heisman tropy nominees, we won lots of football games for our alma maters".

God said, "So what do you want to know"? Colt steps in and says, "Well God, why does Graham Harrell get a better house than us"? God chuckled and said, "Sam and Colt, that's not Graham's house... it's mine".

Where Does the Time Go?

I took the kids to have their pictures made a couple of weeks ago. I use to be so good at keeping up with having their pictures made......not anymore! My intentions were to have Caleb and Branson's pictures taken. (Branson's 4, or should I say 4 1/2 yr. old pictures and Caleb's 12 month, or should I say 15 month pictures.) Well, Caleb would not cooperate (he ended up with fever that evening), so we only got this one shot of all them. I did end up getting pictures of Emily though, so it worked out o.k. (Well as o.k. as it can be at the photographer alone with all the kiddos.)

Hopefully I'll be able to get Caleb to cooperate and have more pictures taken at some point. (Wishful thinking, I'm sure!)

I'm Back....Finally

As of 15 minutes ago, we have internet access again. It's been AWFUL living without it. (I was beginning to wonder how I ever made it before the internet.)

Where Did We Go??

For those of you wondering what happened to the Cole's (since we haven't posted in a month).....the short and simple of it is that we have no internet connection right now. Caleb decided our modem needed a drink of water, so he poured the entire glass on it. So, needless to say, it is no longer working! We've been trying to read e-mails here and there when we get a chance at my parent's house. Other than that, I feel like I've been living in the "Dark Ages". What did I ever do before the internet??? Hopefully we'll be up and running again soon.

I never dreamed as a little girl just how blessed and lucky I would be when you entered by life. You are my best friend. You are the kindest and most gentle man I know. Your love for me goes beyond anything I could have ever imagined. As a father, you both inspire me and melt my heart all at the same time. We're complete opposites, but together we're perfect! I love you and I hope you know on your birthday and always just how much I love you and how very thankful I am that God chose you for me!

Morning Sickness

The lack of posts since announcing my pregnancy has been because of horrible morning sickness. It all started about 10 days ago when I got a horrible stomach bug. That has sense subsided, and the morning sickness has kicked in. This is by far the worst of any of my pregnancies. I haven't been able to eat much at all. I'm going to the Dr. on Monday, so hopefully she'll give me something. It's a strange thing when I actually lose weight, pregnant. I'm the one that always puts on TONS of pounds, not loses them. Hopefully things will begin to look up around here soon, so that we can get things back to normal (as normal as that can be).
